Sick Day

Poor Sadie. We got her up this morning for church and discovered she had thrown up in her crib during the night. She didn't eat hardly anything all day today! An hour after I put her to bed tonight, she threw up again in her crib! I finally got her to sleep and I sure hope she sleeps well tonight. We miss our sweet little ball of energy!
Here's a picture of her this morning cuddling with Nick and I in bed:
And here are some pictures of Sadie feeling her best:

My Mom made her this hat! She loves it!

Idaho Witch (notice the ice scraper), Dancer, and Pole.
Who do you think had the idea for us to dress up as a pole and dancer for Halloween? Yeah, you got it. Sadie did. Look at that guilty witch face. We hope our little party animal gets better soon!

My Mom found this little scarf and put it on Sadie's head. Sadie loved wearing it and kept adjusting it when it would start to fall off!
New hat!

We taught Sadie how to blow raspberries on our bellies! Here's our family raspberry blowing session! :) Hope you get better soon Sadester! We miss you!

Hi-Ho! Hi-Ho! Off to work we go!

More like ho-hum...This house remodeling is taking FOREVER! We are hoping to be in by Christmas. We originally thought we would be in by early October...ha ha! THAT definitely didn't happen!
So let me take you down memory lane for a quick recap on what's been going on with us and our house for the past 4 months:

On August 10th we purchased the house! Yay! After a year and a half of looking for a house, making multiple offers, and having all of them fall through for one reason or another, we actually purchased a house! We were stoked! We moved out of our apartment in Rigby and in with Nick's parents.
Every night (okay most nights of the week) we are at our house fixing it up. Our schedule is as follows:
Nick gets off work and comes home to change clothes and eat dinner. He then heads to the house.
I feed Nick and Sadie dinner and then once Sadie goes down for the night I head to the house.
We are usually at the house until 11 pm (at the earliest).

This is why I have been neglecting our blog!!! Just seems like there is no time! Here are some pictures of our new house:

Water Fun (Idaho Style)

Flooding Grandpa's field is so much fun!

This little girl is probably already growing leg and armpit hair to protect her from the cold canal water! Or maybe it's because she has Oregon/Hippie blood in her...Hmmm...

Sexy Man=Half Marathon

Well, Nick did it! He ran his first half marathon last Saturday in Idaho Falls! I was so proud of him! He trained very hard and although he swears the race killed him, he did very well! I kinda abandoned him (we were supposed to run the race together but then I injured my knee and couldn't run 2 weeks before the race) so I felt really bad! I tried to make up for it by getting up early in the morning with Sadie and coming out to support him! Not to mention making Sadie a shirt that read, "RUN FAST DADDY" on it. He loved it! Sadie and I sure love him! He is the best Dad and Husband I could ever ask for!!! (Not to mention he got major points in my book for running a half marathon!) Love you honey!

Sewing is like Golfing

I've decided that sewing is like golfing: Most of the time it really sucks and you wonder why you decided to give it a try in the first place. And then sometimes you do things right and you say to yourself, "That wasn't so bad...I might try that again sometime." Yeah.
