We actually found out we were pregnant on Valentine's Day. We were heading to McCammon, Idaho for a sledding trip with Nick's family when we decided to pick up a pregnancy test and find out. My body felt different and I suspected I was pregnant. I knew that I would be going crazy all weekend not knowing whether or not I was pregnant or not! So we picked up a pregnancy test along the way and ended up finding out that I was pregnant at the McCammon Flying J truck stop! So W.T. I know! We didn't want to take the test at the McCammon house in fear that one of his family members might discover the test in the garbage so we went with the truck stop!
I was feeling pretty crappy up until about 2 weeks ago. I was having a hard time getting any food in and was struggling with my water intake...I never threw up but felt very nauseous. At one point the doctor even pumped me with 2 bags of IV fluid! I had drank a whole nalgene bottle of water before that visit but she still said I was way dehydrated! All in all, I am doing so much better now!
The ultrasound we had yesterday was so amazing! Our baby is 11 weeks along, 2 inches long, and we could see all the little fingers and limbs! We are so excited and blessed! Our baby looks healthy and appears to be developing normally! And the heartbeat! It was spectacular to see that little heart pumping so fast! We have a picture of the ultrasound...I'll see if I can find a way to post it on our blog! We'll keep everyone updated! Love you all!
HERE IS THE ULTRASOUND OF THE BABY WE HAD TAKEN LAST MONDAY. OUR LITTLE ONE MEASURED 2 INCHES LONG. WE WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND OUT IF IT IS A BOY OR GIRL FOR ANOTHER COUPLE OF MONTHS. I DO WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK WE WILL HAVE HOWEVER! I HAVE PUT A POLL ON OUR BLOG. PUT IN YOUR PREDICTION! BOY OR GIRL?
