Hawaii Pictures

Self explanatory.
A banana tree.
The family out to dinner.
My henna tattoo...It was fading a lot because I was always in the water.
View of part of the island from a hike we went on.
Nick and Skyler enjoyed the Honolulu Screamer.
They are on the boat in this picture getting ready to depart. The boat was basically just really fast! They had fun!
Here is a picture taken of a marlin that was caught by a tourist who paid to go deep sea fishing. The marlin weighed 450 lbs!
Here's the fish Nick and his Dad caught after they paid to go deep sea fishing...Quite the size difference there!
Nick and I New Year's Eve at Waikiki beach.
Oil in the water that is still leaking from the sunken U.S.S. Arizona at Pearl Harbor.
Names of all of the Pearl Harbor casualties.
Here is what's left of the U.S.S. Arizona smoke stack visible above the water.
Nick and I surfing the crap out of a wave!
Pearl Harbor survivor. He was the cutest and nicest guy!
This is where the U.S.S. Arizona memorial is. We took a ferry out to it where we read all the names of the people who died during the Pearl Harbor attack. We also took pictures of the parts of the ship that are above water. (To the right of the building.)
A ship anchor...It was huge!
Nick and I shooting down planes.
We took a tour of the U.S.S. Missouri where the World War II peace treaty was signed between us and Japan, thus ending the war. This plaque marks the spot on the ship where the treaty was signed.
Cool picture of a rainbow crossing over the port.
U.S.S. Missouri
Picture we took of a ship through a stethoscope.
Soldiers sleeping quarter on the U.S.S. Missouri.
U.S.S. Missouri
One of the hikes we went on in Hawaii. Don't know what that white thing is in the picture.
Waterfall we hiked to on our hike.
Nick and I under a really cool tree on our hike. Crazy isn't it?
There were a lot of roots and branche tangled like this.
Waterfall we hiked to.
More scenery on our hike. I love this picture of all the trees covered with ivy and plants!
Pretty little stream.
Flower.
Part of the Terry clan.
Tree canopy.
Kailua beach where we stayed was very busy all of the time with wind surfers, kite surfers, and kayakers.
Nick at Turtle Bay next to his man friend.
This turtle was sleeping on the beach! The natives call him Brutus. It is a federal crime to touch a turtle in Hawaii so they had a red rope circling the turtle so no one would disturb him.
Nick and his brothers running from the waves.
Nick swears this parrot wanted to eat him.
Pretty picture of the beach.
The girls were cold so I buried their legs to keep them warm.
This was the finale show at the PCC that lasted a few hours. It was absolutely incredible!!!
Pina coladas were a favorite of ours!
Look closely and you will see the two men carrying the roasted pig across the stage! That was the pork we feasted on! It was so good! They cook the pig in a pit in the ground and cover it with leaves and brush!
This was the Luau we attended at the PCC. Performers danced several different hawaiian dances for the audience while we feasted on roasted kalua pork!
Me licking a giant icecream cone at the PCC. It was quite tasty.
Don't ever ask your husband to give you a "natural" pose for the camera...he'll almost always do the opposite!
Nick and I (with Justin in the back) at the PCC Luau.
Drummers representing Tonga at the PCC.
The Island of Samoa. They sang and danced for us. We also watched them start a fire by rubbing sticks together!
Christmas in Waikiki!
Every afternoon all of the villages do a parade down the canal for all of the PCC visitors. The show is set to music and each tribe dances and performs for everyone to see!
Tahiti. Those girls could really shake their hips!
Samoan guy showed us how Samoans break and husk a coconut. We were also shown how coconut milk is made. (We were warned not to drink too much or we would get the runs!)
Everyone's Christmas stockings
Nick and I were excited to open up our dartboard from Skyler and Becky!
Nick and I in Waikiki in front of a huge decorated Christmas tree.
Our Hawaii Christmas Tree.
Yes, we did a puzzle in Hawaii. What were we thinking?
Here's a picture of the front room of our beach house. Out back we had a lawn and beyond that was the beach. It was perfect because we had a trail to the beach from the backyard and could go whenever!
Here's some of the group gathered for our Christmas breakfast.
Stan and Justin supersoaking everyone in the hot tub. (That's why I grabbed the camera so I wouldn't get sprayed!)
The house was in the shape of a U. This is the courtyard area with the pool and hot tub. Nick and I stayed in the bedroom behind the pool with the chairs by the door.
Joyce, Mailee, and Rhonda enjoying the beach!
We all crowded in the hot tub on most nights! Nick jumped in the pool with the innertube around his waist and floaties on his arms...After everyone had a good laugh he settled into the hot tub with us. He is such a clown! :)
Nick and niece Monica going boogy boarding. It was so much fun!
Nick and Joyce. Most of the beach pictures were taken at the beach we were staying at. Kailua Beach? Can't remember the name.

Awesome pics Haley. By the way, a stethoscope is a medical instrument for listening to the sounds generated inside the body. How did you use it to look at a ship? I need to see that trick.
