We actually found out we were pregnant on Valentine's Day. We were heading to McCammon, Idaho for a sledding trip with Nick's family when we decided to pick up a pregnancy test and find out. My body felt different and I suspected I was pregnant. I knew that I would be going crazy all weekend not knowing whether or not I was pregnant or not! So we picked up a pregnancy test along the way and ended up finding out that I was pregnant at the McCammon Flying J truck stop! So W.T. I know! We didn't want to take the test at the McCammon house in fear that one of his family members might discover the test in the garbage so we went with the truck stop!
I was feeling pretty crappy up until about 2 weeks ago. I was having a hard time getting any food in and was struggling with my water intake...I never threw up but felt very nauseous. At one point the doctor even pumped me with 2 bags of IV fluid! I had drank a whole nalgene bottle of water before that visit but she still said I was way dehydrated! All in all, I am doing so much better now!
The ultrasound we had yesterday was so amazing! Our baby is 11 weeks along, 2 inches long, and we could see all the little fingers and limbs! We are so excited and blessed! Our baby looks healthy and appears to be developing normally! And the heartbeat! It was spectacular to see that little heart pumping so fast! We have a picture of the ultrasound...I'll see if I can find a way to post it on our blog! We'll keep everyone updated! Love you all!

Awwww...that is the sweetest news ever!!! I'm going to make sure that your mom takes the video camera to the birth and gets some good thigh shots so that my mom can have a video party at her house again for everyone to see!!

I am SO excited for you! You will be such a great mom, and I'm sure your little one will be just as beautiful as you are! We'll be praying for a healthy baby, and that you'll be over the "feeling yucky" stage soon!

On another note..... I can't believe you didn't tell us when we were talking on the phone!!!! We had to find out the next day from a blanket text! What is that?

Congrats! I am sooo excited for you two! By the way, that baby shower was in Oregon, i am still having one in Utah, and of course you are invited and I really hope you can make it. I haven't seen you in forever.
