My belly hooked up to monitors. The blue one measured the baby's heart rate and the pink one measured the strength and frequency of my contractions.
Mom stayed occupied knitting baby hats. Here is her and Nick untangling yarn in my hospital bed while watching Animal Planet.
This is the craziest picture of me...You can see how unstable I look...Anyways, I was super excited because my milk finally came in!

It was hard to see her like this but we knew it was for the best. She's a fighter!
In the beginning her coloring wasn't very good. She was very pale. This was after having a blood transfusion so her color was improving. She was ghost white at birth.

Every day she looked remarkably better! Tubes and wires were gradually removed to reveal a beautiful baby girl underneath! :)
